Kendra Thompson- Owner, BCBA, LBA

Kendra is a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a deep, personal passion for the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which was ignited by her close relationships with family members on the autism spectrum. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Excelsior University and her Master's in ABA from Purdue Global. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. at National University. As the owner of Progressive Pathways ABA, Kendra recognized a critical need for a more personalized and holistic approach to therapy. She founded her practice on the principle that effective care must be patient-centered and tailored to the unique needs of each individual and their family. Kendra's expertise lies in developing comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans that empower patients and foster meaningful progress. Her mission is to create a supportive and collaborative environment where every individual can thrive and reach their full potential.

Maya Adams- Virtual Spokesperson| Community Voice

Maya is the virtual spokesperson for Progressive Pathways ABA, bringing a warm and approachable voice to the company’s online community. She is skilled in digital storytelling, creating TikTok- and Instagram-style videos that feel authentic, natural, and relatable to today’s parents. With a strong background in social media strategy, Maya has experience growing engaged communities through parent-friendly education, supportive resources, and an approachable brand voice. As an advocate for ABA awareness, she is passionate about making therapy approachable and easy to understand, highlighting how it helps children build independence, confidence, and lifelong skills. In her role as content creator, Maya develops scripts, captions, and posts that combine professionalism with warmth, positioning Progressive Pathways ABA as both a trusted resource and a relatable partner for families.

-Senior Behavior Therapist (SBT)

Our senior behavior therapists are experienced therapist who are currently working towards their master's degree and accruing BCBA/BCaBA level fieldwork hours under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our SBT's work closely with a Board-Certified to ensure treatment plans are followed correctly and to communicate a client's progress and challenges. They also collaborate with parents and other caregivers to ensure consistency in the home and other environments. They often serve as mentors to less-experienced therapists, providing guidance, feedback, and hands-on training. This role is crucial for maintaining a high standard of care across the entire team. A senior behavior therapist directly applies therapeutic techniques and interventions outlined in a client's treatment plan. They are skilled in a wide range of ABA methodologies and can adapt their approach to a client's specific needs.

Lead Registered Behavior Technician (LT)

Our Registered Behavior Technicians are certified paraprofessionals who works directly with clients to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. They are a crucial part of the care team, working under the close supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). is a highly experienced and skilled professional who plays a dual role in a care team. While they maintain the responsibilities of a standard RBT, they also take on leadership duties, mentorship, and advanced support roles. Their primary role is to provide one-on-one therapy to clients, which involves teaching new skills and helping to reduce challenging behaviors. They follow a treatment plan developed by their supervisor, using techniques like positive reinforcement and skill-building exercises.

Center Operations Manager (COM)

Our Center Operations Manager is the administrative leader of Progressive Pathways ABA, ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of the center. This position is vital for creating a positive and welcoming environment for both our clients and staff.

The manager oversees all administrative functions, including client intake, scheduling, and record-keeping. They serve as the primary point of contact for families and are responsible for supporting the clinical team so they can focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
